The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) announced on Monday that its Business Name Registration System Next Generation (BNRS Next Gen) and BMBE Online systems remain inaccessible due to ongoing maintenance and updates.
The department did not provide a specific timeline for the system’s restoration, stating it would remain unavailable “until further notice.”
The outage affects several key business services, including new and renewal applications for business name registration, issuance of certifications, and processing of changes to existing registrations.
A DTI spokesperson said the department would resume services as soon as the system is restored, but did not offer an estimated completion date for the maintenance work.
The affected services include:
- Business name registration (new and renewal applications)
- Issuance of affirmative/negative certifications
- Changes to business name registration certificates
- Territorial scope changes or upgrades
- Issuance of cancellation certifications
- Authentication or certified true copy services
- Issuance of BMBE (Barangay Micro Business Enterprise) Certificates of Authority
The DTI apologized for any inconvenience caused by the system downtime.
