SANTA ROSA, Laguna – Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Acting Group Manager for MIS and Corporate Planning Rowena T. Naguit joined key industry leaders at the 34th South Luzon Area Business Conference (SOLABC) held Friday, April 25, at the Enchanting Events Place in Enchanted Kingdom, Laguna.
Speaking on the theme “Building Resilience and Sustainability, Embracing Diversity,” Naguit underscored the importance of ecozone development in driving economic growth and attracting investments, particularly under the CREATE MORE regime.
She emphasized PEZA’s role in positioning the Philippines as a competitive and investor-friendly destination in the ASEAN region.
PEZA Director General Tereso Panga, in a message echoed by Naguit, said ecozones could serve as buffers against global economic disruptions and act as key drivers of recovery and growth. Naguit called on stakeholders to support PEZA’s mission to promote inclusive and sustainable development through ecozoning.
