The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Cebu, under the leadership of District Collector Atty. Ricardo Uy Morales II, CESE, launched the KaSSSanga Program in partnership with the Social Security System (SSS) on November 30, 2023. The program aims to enhance the awareness and access of Port of Cebu employees and stakeholders to the various services and benefits offered by SSS.
The SSS North Reclamation Area (NRA) team, headed by Ms. Maria Judy Go, conducted an orientation for BOC personnel, including those engaged in Contract of Service (COS), and stakeholders. They discussed the different services and benefits that SSS members can avail, such as updating of records, filing of claims, and membership registration. The program is part of the Port of Cebu’s commitment to the welfare and development of its personnel, as expressed by District Collector Atty. Morales.
District Collector Atty. Morales said, “We value the well-being of our personnel and we want to provide them with the best possible support. By collaborating with the Social Security System, we are giving our employees the opportunity to learn and avail of the services that can help them secure their future and well-being. We believe that by taking care of our personnel, we are also enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.”
The Port of Cebu, under the guidance of Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, continues to create a work environment that prioritizes the welfare and continuous development of its dedicated workforce.
