MANILA, Philippines – Fans of the reel-to-real life power couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes were in for a treat as they showed up at SM North EDSA on the second day of showing of their MMFF 2023 film entry ‘Rewind.’
The surprise appearance of the DongYan duo delighted the moviegoers who were eager to watch their much-awaited movie comeback after 13 years. The couple thanked their supporters for choosing their film among the other entries in the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival.
‘Rewind’ is a romantic comedy directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, under Star Cinema, APT Entertainment Inc., and Agosto Dos Pictures. It tells the story of a married couple who are given a chance to go back in time and relive their past moments together.
The film has received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, praising the chemistry and performance of the lead stars, as well as the humor and heart of the story. It is expected to be one of the top-grossing films in the festival.
