The Philippines is the FIRST ASIAN COUNTRY to offer Starlink services, a satellite internet constellation operated by Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
The launch of SpaceX/Starlink in the country will enable a much faster broadband speed, better connectivity, and more affordable rates.
“This shows the government’s seriousness in addressing the connectivity needs of our countrymen in unserved and underserved areas. This will also prepare us in the event of natural disasters and calamities,” said Atty. Bien Marquez of Quisumbing Torres, the counsel of Starlink’s operator SpaceX.
