The Local Government Unit of Ormoc City would like to commend and recognize Ricardo Malinao Jr., a dedicated tricycle driver from Barangay Cabulihan, for his exemplary act of honesty and integrity.
Ricardo Malinao Jr. returned a lost wallet containing ₱65,334.00 in cash and important identification cards to its rightful owner, Ryan Jaramillo, a sales manager at a local company.
Ricardo found the wallet on the national highway in Mandaue City and contacted Ryan through his company’s phone number.
He arranged to meet him at a nearby mall and returned the wallet without asking for any reward.
Ricardo’s selfless act of kindness showcases his character and serves as a shining example for all of us.
His action reminds us that honesty is a timeless virtue that can make a significant difference in someone’s life.
