Two more members of Enduma Brothers Investment Scam Syndicated Group were arrested by Pasig City Police Station Intelligence Operatives led by Police Major Jose Luis R. Aguirre, Chief, Station Intelligence Section, in a separate manhunt operation on August 27, 2021 in San Antonio, Pasig City and Brgy. Dalig, Teresa, Rizal.

The suspects, identified as Joan Dela Peña y Delos Reyes, 44 years old, housewife were arrested at about 6:30 a.m. of August 27, 2021 in her residence at Brgy. Dalig Teresa Rizal, following the arrest of his brother of Gilbert Enduma y Fallurin, alias Gilbert Enduma y Valerio, 58 years old, and a resident of Amang Rodriguez, Brgy. Rosario, Pasig City, after two hours on that same day.

Gilbert Enduma, the leader of ENDUMA Brothers Investment Scam was arrested at about 4:30 a.m. of August 27, 2021 in front of Jollibee along Escriba Drive corner Shaw Boulevard, Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City and currently detained at Pasig City Police Station Detention Facility for a case of syndicated estafa.

According to Intelligence report, the modus operandi of this group is to entice the public to invest their money in Champion International Corporation/Medenu Champion Marketing International which promised 400% return of investment in more or less than 30 days. Also, a member may opt to avail the FAST TRACK option under the company’s Profit Sharing Program wherein a member could make profit in a span of two (2) weeks by means of recruiting ten (10) individuals to invest in the company. This Enduma Brother’s investment Scam had been running for four (4) years since May 18, 2017 with business address Mezzanine 1, Rafael Corporate Center F Ortigas Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

A total of more or less P30,000,000.00 were collected and scammed by the said company victimizing over 80 victims from Pasig City alone and other numerous victim’s from different parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

PMaj. Aguirre together with SIDMS and DID, EPD had arrested the duo by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Maria Gracia A. Cadiz-Casaclang Branch 155, Pasig City for the crime of syndicated estafa issued on February 11, 2021 with no bail recommended.

According to PCol. Roman C. Arugay, Chief of Police, Pasig City Police Station, “we are still finding the rest of the Enduma Brothers Investment Scam members that are believed to be hiding at the nearby provinces. Rest assured that Pasig City Police Station will put to the end those malicious and swindling act of these people.”

The accused were informed of the nature of their arrest and apprised their Constitutional Rights in a dialect known and clearly understood by them.

Subsequently, they were brought to Rizal Medical Center (RMC) Pasig City for medical examination and later to this Station for proper documentation.
