Rogen Inn is a one-stop food destination in Davao City, Philippines.

By Ian Ray Garcia: In such as short time, the Rogen Inn Compound has transformed a one-stop foodie destination. There’s a Habi at Kape, Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps, Samgyupsalamat, Vines, Marina Tuna, and just yesterday, October 20, Rogen Lounge, a bar/cafe/events place, had its launch with the friends and media.

“It’s a chill out place to hang out and chat after dinner,” said owner, businessman Boboy Bangayan on the concept of the lounge.

As a businessman who loves entertaining guests and business partners over dinner, he finds it difficult to find a place in the city for a night cap.

For Bangayan, a perfect place would be where one can enjoy a wide variety of beverages and still be able to chat with your companions without being drowned by the music (live performers on Fridays) or by the crowd. Yep, chill is the word and that was how Rogen Lounge was conceived.

The lounge can comfortably accommodate 30 guests. One can also exclusively use the entire place for events and intimate gatherings. As for the music, expect to enjoy easy listening, middle of the road tunes.

“Boboy has prepared a setlist of his favorite tunes on Spotify from the 60s to the 90s, and the present,” shared wife and tourism leader Gene Bangayan.

Open from 2pm to 11pm makes Rogen Lounge the perfect “tea-to-cocktails” place. They serve a wide range of TWG teas, lox and imported coffee and beers, red and white wines, and a wide range of liquor – from vodka, gin, tequila, and whiskeys including single malt, such as Yamazaki.

Rogen Lounge allows cross ordering of food from restaurants within the compound.

Rogen Lounge is located at the ground level of Rogen Inn compound, Mt Apo corner Lopez Jaena Streets, Davao City, Philippines.
